Welcome to Butternut Farms! At Butternut Farms, we’re a family-run farm with over 150 years of history. Originally a dairy farm, we’ve grown into a diverse operation, now specializing in sheep, maple syrup, crop farming, and Christmas trees. We are a real working farm, and we're excited to welcome you, your family, and your friends to our farm. Nestled in the heart of the Chateauguay Valley, Butternut Farms is a place we hold dear, and we hope you’ll find it just as special as we do. Butternut Farms is a real working farm, complete with space for everyone. 6 bedrooms (4 Queen, 1 single and 1 twin), makes for a fun get away between friends or families. Butternut Farms has an outdoor firepit for s'mores, a meadow for walks and picnics as well as porches for mornings coffee. Included in your stay is a 1 hour pasture/farm tour. During maple season guests would be invited to watch the magic of maple syrup production. We ask that you enjoy the house yard and meadow, but not venture into the pastures, barns or outbuildings. We also ask that you use the fire pit for fires only. No fires on the lawn or parking spaces please. We are available to help you out in anyway. Please message us or call. We are strict with the no-parties and trespassing rules. The safety and integrity of our farm, animals and neighbours is important. We make no exceptions. We believe farming is a good life, and are happy to share with our guests.
